Open Access policy

EJPB is an open access journal, which means that all content is freely available without charge to the users or his/her institutions. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author to facilitate global exchange of knowledge. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.

Authorship of the Paper

  • Authorship for any manuscript submitted to EJPB should be restricted to individuals who have made substantial intellectual contribution for the research and preparation of the manuscript. All authors are expected to vouch for the veracity of content presented in the manuscript that is submitted for publication.
  • Corresponding author should ensure that all co-authors have approved the final version of the manuscript for submission
  • Any disputes regarding the authorship or the sequence of authorship should be resolved before submission of the manuscript.
  • Authors should submit a “author declaration form” signed by all the authors, while submitting the manuscript.
  • Change in authorship after submission of manuscript is normally not permitted. However, under extraordinary circumstances, it may be considered upon receipt of written request from all the authors concerned, before the acceptance of manuscript for publication.
  • EJPB does not involve in any way to settle authorship disputes

Submission of a manuscript implies the following:

  • The work described has not been published before (except in the form of an abstract or as part of thesis)
  • This manuscript is not under consideration for publication elsewhere;
  • When the manuscript is accepted for publication, the authors agree for automatic transfer of the copyright to the Electronic Journal of Plant Breeding and Indian Society of Plant Breeders.
